Dennis Miller is the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and Benefits Administration supporting The Claremont Colleges. The Claremont Colleges is a consortium of 7 highly regarded institutions of higher education and include Pomona College, Harvey Mudd College, Claremont McKenna College, Scripps College, Keck Graduate Institute, Claremont Graduate University and Pitzer College.
In addition to providing operational oversight of employee welfare benefits and payroll services, key focuses include organizational development, process improvement through the application of technology and a special emphasis on team development.
Dennis maintains his certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the HR Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resources Management. He has a master’s degree in Human Resources Development & Management from Chapman University and is a retired US Marine Corps Air Traffic Controller.

With more than 17 years of experience as an HR executive focused on improving workplace culture and enhancing the employee experience, Develin helps organizations implement strategic employee workplace initiatives to enhance productivity, improve communication, and increase satisfaction across the workforce. A seasoned speaker at conferences and other business events, she has presented hundreds of sessions for HR audiences of all sizes and enjoys connecting with and learning from other HR and business professionals. Develin holds an M.S. in human resources development from McDaniel College, where she continues to work today as an adjunct professor in the human resources management and human services management programs. She is also the co-host of The People Purpose Podcast—a show that focuses on all things people at work.

Having lived and worked in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, Erika has over a decade of experience in leading and guiding cross cultural initiatives that impact organizations and drive business success.
Erika holds various DEI and training certificates; she received an MSc in Human Rights Law from the University of Birmingham in the UK and has an MA and BA. Outside of work, Erika is an active volunteer and mentor in various spaces that elevate and bring underrepresented voices to cultivate positive social change.
